Ognian Gavrilov and Priscilla Parker obtained the largest jury verdict in US history for a shin/knee injury without amputation. The defense could have settled this matter for $2.5 million but thought they could do better at trial.

Partner Eliezer Cohen prevailed on a summary judgment motion in a personal injury and employment law matter.  That successfully got his client removed from that lawsuit and resulted in an award of costs for his client.

Following a jury trial in July in which attorneys Eliezer Cohen and Michael Wilcox obtained a judgment of about $360,000, they successfully argued to obtain attorney fees and pre-judgment interest.  They obtained nearly $400,000 in attorney fees, raising the total judgment to more than $800,000.

Partner Eliezer Cohen obtained a verdict of more than $200,000 in a federal adversary proceeding, which was the full amount requested at trial.  Mr. Cohen’s client prevailed on both claims asserted in the case, which included proving defalcation of duty and fraud.
