Senior Litigation Attorney Angela Quintero offers the firm 24 years of distinguished litigation expertise, having conducted over 120 trials and evidentiary hearings. Ms. Quintero has litigated a broad spectrum of cases, including Civil Plaintiff and Defense matters, Criminal Prosecution and Defense, catastrophic injury claims, premises liability, motorcycle, semi-truck, and motor vehicle accidents, Construction Defense, Guardianship, Termination of Parental Rights, Domestic Violence Restraining Orders, and various Family Law disputes. Notably, she contributed to the Gladis Soto case, helping clarify the application of a 25-year firearm enhancement originally presented as a “gang enhancement law.” Her efforts led to successful resentencing, which resulted in Ms. Soto’s release and influenced sentencing outcomes for other domestic violence victims under similar statutes.

Seeing a need for Grant Writers, Ms. Quintero was inspired to attend the University of Notre Dame to pursue a degree in Non-Profit Fund Development in the Executive Management Program at the prestigious Mendoza School of Business of Notre Dame University where she became a Certified Grant Proposal Writer.

From 2015-2018, Ms. Quintero served as a Professor in Oxnard College’s Paralegal Studies program, rewriting the curriculum and earning recognition from students as their top-rated professor. As the owner of her law firm since 2002, she brings innovative strategies and comprehensive knowledge to resolve complex, high-conflict legal matters. Her early trial experience was gained in the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office’s Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Unit, where she prepared cases for prosecution and assisted in jury selections, trials, and appeals.

Ms. Quintero is also a Certified Minor’s Counsel, which proved valuable during her transition into Entertainment Law. She was featured as a speaker at the Indie Entertainment Summit in 2013 and 2014, discussing minors’ legal protections in the entertainment industry. This led to roles as an Executive Producer for music and film productions and representation of notable artists and talent for prominent television shows.

During law school, Ms. Quintero ranked in the top 10% of her class, earning several academic awards and scholarships and was the President of the Student Bar Association. She accepted a position as Law Clerk for a Criminal Judge in the Superior Court of California, County of Ventura, and benefitted from nearly two decades of judicial mentorship, gaining critical insight into judicial perspectives that have shaped her success as a litigator.

Ms. Quintero has served on several Boards of Directors, including Chair of the Oxnard College Paralegal School Advisory Committee (2014-2018), Tender Life Maternity Home, The City Center Ventura transitional housing program, and the Ventura College of Law Alumni Advisory Board. She is committed to community service and enjoys activities such as spending time with family and friends, studying languages, traveling, fitness, kayaking, water sports, Peloton cycling, cooking, baking, golfing, attending outdoor music festivals, dog training, and writing books.
