Alexandra (“Allie”) Darling is a litigation attorney at Gavrilov & Brooks. Allie is involved in the firm’s trial practice, law and motion, and civil litigation.

Allie was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. She eventually moved to the Sacramento area to attend the University of California, Davis, where she majored in Political Science. At U.C. Davis, she particularly favored political science classes that focused on the judiciary branch. Learning about Constitutional law sparked her interest in pursuing a legal career, and she was further inspired to attend law school when her grandmother, Peggy Darling, described her disappointing experience of trying to find a job as a woman lawyer in the early 1950’s. Today, Allie is proud to live out her late grandmother’s dreams of practicing law.

After earning her undergraduate degree, Allie attended McGeorge School of Law, where she graduated with Distinction. During her time at McGeorge, Allie interned as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kevin Culhane at the Sacramento County Superior Court. While attending law school, Allie also worked as a primary editor for the McGeorge Law Review, served as Vice President for the McGeorge Cannabis Law Society, clerked at the Victims of Crime Resource Center, and represented seniors at McGeorge’s Elder Law Clinic.
