Bradley Jewett is partner at Gavrilov & Brooks with more than 18 years of experience in complex business litigation. Bradley’s practice is focused on general commercial litigation, real estate-related matters, contract disputes, and healthcare law, including landlord-tenant and commercial leasing actions, enforcement of lender claims, partnership and franchise agreement disputes, “Airbnb” short-term rental and zoning/lot-line disputes; partition actions, Proposition 65 defense, unlawful detainer actions, and insurance defense matters. Bradley has participated and prevailed in numerous jury and bench trials and successfully guided his clients through dozens of arbitrations, mediations and informal settlement negotiations. His practice involves cases in both State and Federal Court, and he has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on a number of occasions.

Bradley’s clients range from institutional banks and private equity lenders to preeminent educational and research facilities.  He represents emerging and established businesses, including law firms, legal and medical professionals, and businesses and their owners, officers, members and shareholders, as well as homeowner associations, landlords, tenants and individual homeowners. A significant portion of Bradley’s practice is focused on developing protocols to assist clients in minimizing risk and limiting potential exposure. When it is not possible to avoid legal action, Bradley takes a hands-on approach with managing his cases.  He focuses on communicating closely with his clients to create and implement custom tailored and cost-efficient litigation strategies.

Before joining Gavrilov & Brooks, Bradley was a partner in several boutique litigation firms in Los Angeles, and prior to that, an associate at Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis. His recent community service includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Hancock La Brea Homeowners’ Association and as a representative the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Counsel.
